Michael D. Reese

President/Certified Financial PlannerTM

Michael Reese is a 20+ year veteran of the financial industry and has trained more than 1,000 financial advisors across the country in post-retirement financial strategies. Over the years, he has earned a number of credentials and designations, including Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChfC), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Certified Tax Specialist (CTS). Michael spent several years hosting his own financial planning radio program and now hosts the acclaimed show, “Retiring Well.”

Michael is the author of the book, “The Big Retirement Lie: Why Traditional Retirement Planning Benefits the IRS More Than You.” Readers of his book have given it enthusiastic reviews. He is excited to be releasing a new series of financial books soon.

He shares a new perspective of planning and has received the undivided attention of retirees as well as respected financial advisors from coast to coast. Due to his success within the industry, Michael has become one of America’s most recognized retirement professionals.



Kevin Wade

Financial Advisor

Kevin’s role with Centennial Advisors is to create and Implement a Personalized Financial Plan for each individual client.  Kevin believes that every client has different goals and needs, by understanding the relationship between those individual client needs and industry trends, he is able to develop a Financial Plan that is tailored to his client’s specific goals.

Kevin holds a B.S. in Business Management from Manhattan Christian College. He is a Financial Advisor with a Series 65 License, as well as a Texas Insurance License.

Kevin and his wife Amy have been married for 20 years and have 2 daughters.  Native Kansans, they love all that the Central Texas area has to offer.  Kevin enjoys golfing, fishing and playing sports with his two girls, as well as, spending quality time with his wife out-and-about in the area enjoying concerts, festivals and all the activities of Central Texas.  When he is not spending time with family, Kevin is also a certified official for High School Football and Baseball, officiating games across Central Texas.



Elizabeth James, CRPS

Financial Advisor

Elizabeth has 13+ years’ experience in the financial services industry and focuses on wealth accumulation, protection and distribution strategies tailored to meet her clients’ lifetime income goals, as well as legacy goals, all in the most tax advantaged way.  She enjoys helping those who are nearing or transitioning into retirement and the distribution phase of their wealth cycle.  Elizabeth has also earned the Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist (CRPS) designation and has expertise in working with Qualified Plans and other Retirement Accounts.

Elizabeth is from Charleston, South Carolina, where she spent many years at a “big box” brokerage firm.  She graduated from The College of Charleston in 2003 with her B.S. in Economics and a Minor in Finance.  Elizabeth holds a Series 66 Investment Advisor License and her Texas Insurance License.



Brandy Lord

Director of Operations - Temple

As Centennial Advisors Director of Operations, Brandy is responsible for the planning and monitoring of the day-to-day business procedures, policies and processes. She assists in monitoring financial accounts and processing paperwork to ensure a smooth transition for new clients. In addition, Brandy is responsible for facilitating seminars and advisor appointments for our Temple location, where she is your primary point of contact.

Brandy has an Associate Degree with a major in Criminal Justice and is a licensed Life Insurance Agent for the state of Texas. Outside of work, she spends her time training dogs (she has three of her own) and helps to run an Austin-based non-profit, rescue and advocacy organization.

Sara Reese

Marketing Coordinator - Georgetown

Sara is a graduate of Texas State University with a degree in Marketing. She is responsible for a number of activities in the office, including marketing, client scheduling, along with administrative duties.

Since Sara is a Michigander she spends most of her spare time exploring Austin and everything it has to offer. She also is the proud owner of two Golden Retrievers that keep her busy in her off hours.



Olivia Smith

Graphic Designer - Austin

Olivia is a graduate of Southwestern University in Georgetown where she received her B.S. in Business Administration with a minor in Psychology. She continued her education at Austin Community College in marketing and design. At Centennial Advisors, Olivia’s primary responsibility is creating brand awareness through graphic design and producing marketing communications such as brochures, pamphlets, seminar presentations and exhibition-related projects. She also takes lead on promoting the Centennial Advisor name through online marketing channels such as Facebook, Twitter and the company’s official blog. In addition, Olivia is also responsible for the day to day administrative tasks of our Austin location, where she is your primary point of contact.

An Austin native, Olivia is a local music aficionado, enjoying the many live music events and festivals Austin has to offer. In her spare time, she also enjoys fine art painting and illustration.
